Date: Wednesday July 30th 10:30

We are a fair weather, social walking group that meets once a month for a morning stroll and a chat (about two hours).

Two volunteers each month take charge (one at the front the other at the back). The date and time to suit them will be posted in the monthly calendar.

It is up to you to contact them and register. Please do not just turn up this is not fair on them or safe for yourself. In the case of bad weather they will contact you to cancel. Check you are physically fit for the walk. All walk leaders are covered by the u3a Public Liability insurance. It is not personal accident insurance. Accordingly, participants are responsible for their own Health and Safety, equipment, belongings etc.

If the start is out of town please try to organise car sharing as parking can be tricky. Remember payment for lifts could endanger your car insurance but taking a turn to drive or buying your driver a coffee is fine.

Wear sturdy shoes/boots as even tarmac paths can be muddy. Bring a drink, as not all walks pass a pub or coffee shop.

You can join us any month by checking the calendar and contacting the volunteer in charge.
