Our objective is to enjoy Art/Design topics using informal discussion and  PowerPoint presentations.

 

Please note that this is neither a formal 'History of Art' nor 'Practical Art' group. All that is needed is simple appreciation of the wonderful Art and Design which is all around us.

The ongoing observation, enthusiasm and contribution of members is very much appreciated. New members, ideas, speakers and contributors are always welcome.

Please bring a favourite personal object to discuss with the Art & Design group, led by Jenny Farnol, 11:30 on Tuesday 18th August.

Please do not risk your vulnerable treasures. Just bring some quirky items with an interesting story to tell. What intriguing "objets d'art" or "design classics" might we encounter?

METALWORK/JEWELERY/PAINTING/BOOKS/CERAMICS/GLASS/FABRICS/ANTIQUES etc, in fact ANYTHING to do with ART or DESIGN!
